Homeschoolers Promotion Graduation and Gala May 15, 2016

Come celebrate with the Kissimmee/Poinciana homeschoolers who have diligently applied their work to become the generation of today.

The Homeschoolers Promotion Graduation Formal Gala event will be held on May 15, 2016 and is being sponsored by the Encouragers Homeschooling Co-op and Support Group. The evenings events will be held at Faith Community Church in Kissimmee between 5 and 8 pm. The events are open to all homeschoolers from the community and does not require membership. The evening allows parents a positive way to reward their homeschoolers for all their accomplishments within a selected period of their education.

Encouragers Homeschooling is a homeschoolers Co-op and support group that has been operating in the Kissimmee/Poinciana area serving the counties of Lake, Orange, Osceola, and Polk for over eight years. They are a multi grade, inclusive group focusing on helping parents enrich their children's education through socialization, creative arts, sciences, enrichment classes, holiday parties, support meetings, and field trips.

The promotion ceremony is not an official county promotion but does allow parents to offer children of all ages the opportunity to join other homeschoolers in the area to celebrate their hard work for the year by celebrating their milestones.

RSVP for 50% of the deposit is required by March 11, so the deadline is very near. Cap and gown will be provided for certain participants. Participants of all ages will earn a keepsake certificate. The cost for graduates is $15.00. Homeschoolers in Kindergarden will be provided cap and gown with a cost of $25.00. Friends and family members incur no cost and are encouraged to participate. A live dj will provide a nights worth of entertainment with professional photos and photo booth offered as a service to the promotees.

Immediately following the promotion events their will be a Gala, potluck style, in which to celebrate the event. Taste the best of what they have to offer and dance to the beat of your years accomplishments. Best attire is what is recommended for families who may have concerns.
